Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Shine at Sundance Film Festival for 'Cookie Queens' Premiere

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended the Sundance Film Festival in Utah to celebrate the premiere of their documentary "Cookie Queens." The film, directed by Alyssa Nahmias, follows four Girl Scouts during the iconic cookie season, exploring childhood ambition, entrepreneurship, and the pressures of growing up. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who executive-produced the movie through their company Archewell Productions, were present at a special screening and the premiere of the film.

The couple opted for casual and cozy attire for both events, blending in with the laid-back snowy festival atmosphere of Sundance. Meghan Markle wore an all-black ensemble for the screening, while Prince Harry sported green jeans with a black shirt and puffer jacket. They posed for photos on the red carpet with the film's director, Amy Redford, and the Sundance Film Festival director.

The next day, Markle and Harry graced the red carpet for the documentary's premiere at Park City's Eccles Center Theater. Markle wore a navy blue trench coat over a white sweater and black wide-leg jeans, while Harry chose a black puffer jacket with navy blue jeans. They posed for photos with the film's director, Archewell's Head of Nonfiction Film & TV, and the Sundance director of programming, along with the cast and crew.

During the premiere, Markle took the stage to express her pride in supporting "Cookie Queens" and its depiction of the girlhood experience. She thanked the team at Archewell and the documentary's producers for their dedication to the project. The film received a warm reception at the festival, with one of the longest standing ovations.

In an interview on the red carpet, Markle revealed her favorite Girl Scout cookie, Thin Mints, recalling its popularity during her time as a Girl Scout. She also shared her enthusiasm for being part of the project and highlighted the universal themes of family, community, and girlhood portrayed in the film.

Markle reflected on her future Hollywood goals, expressing her desire to work on projects with strong creators and support meaningful storytelling. Despite the reported non-renewal of her Netflix lifestyle show, Markle remains committed to finding projects that resonate with her values and beliefs.
