Yoshi Speaks! New Trailer Reveals Surprises in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie

Nintendo has unveiled a new trailer for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie in a surprise Nintendo Direct, showcasing Yoshi's appearance in the film. The presentation, led by Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto, features Mario and Luigi on a motorbike adventure in the desert, leading them to an iconic location from Super Mario Odyssey. The brothers encounter a blocked Warp Pipe and, after powering up with Fire Flowers, discover Yoshi inside, who surprisingly speaks.
The trailer does not reveal the actor behind Yoshi's voice or any new additions to the voice cast. The movie, set to introduce Rosalina voiced by Brie Larson and Bowser Jr. voiced by Benny Safdie, will also feature the returning cast from the first film. Fans have speculated about the movie's plot, hinting at the inclusion of deep-cut Nintendo characters and potential revelations about Peach and Rosalina's origins. Illumination, the studio behind the film, is nearing completion of the project, set to hit theaters on April 3 in the US and April 24 in Japan.
