Sanders will be stepping in for Drake Maye, who is unable to participate as his team, the New England Patriots, has advanced to Super Bowl LX. Sanders, who was drafted 144th overall in the 2025 NFL draft, took over as the starting quarterback for the Browns in the final seven games of the season. During this time, he completed 56.6% of his passes for 1,400 yards, throwing seven touchdown passes and 10 interceptions. Additionally, Sanders showcased his running abilities by rushing for 169 yards and scoring one touchdown on 21 carries. The Browns won three out of the seven games that Sanders started.
