The Penguin Season 2: Cristin Milioti Discusses Potential Return and HBO Show Status
Cristin Milioti, known for her role in How I Met Your Mother, discussed the potential return for The Penguin Season 2 and the current status of the HBO show. Milioti won an Emmy for her performance in Season 1 as Sofia Falcone. She expressed her desire to reprise her role in the show if given the opportunity. Topher Grace, her co-star in the upcoming horror thriller Buddy, also voiced his disbelief that Warner Bros. has not confirmed Season 2 yet.
Despite rumors of her involvement in The Batman: Part II, Milioti clarified that she will not be part of the film. While Season 2 has not been officially renewed, Colin Farrell's character, Oz Cobb/The Penguin, will appear in the highly anticipated The Batman sequel, set to premiere on October 1, 2027. Farrell praised the script for the movie and expressed his excitement for Robert Pattinson's journey in the film.
The first season of The Penguin also featured Rhenzy Feliz, Michael Zegen, Michael Kelly, and other talented actors. The show, created by showrunner Lauren LeFranc and executive produced by Matt Reeves, has maintained a Certified Fresh rating of 95% on Rotten Tomatoes.
