Dave Matthews Band Summer Tour 2026: Grand Rapids Shows Announced
This summer, Dave Matthews Band will be breaking tradition by not performing at Pine Knob as part of their tour. Instead, they will be playing two shows at the Acrisure Amphitheater in Grand Rapids on July 7 and 8. Tickets for these shows will be available for purchase starting February 20 through Ticketmaster, with presales currently open for members of the Dave Matthews Band Warehouse.
Since 2006, the band has only skipped Pine Knob once before, back in 2011. Their history of performances in Metro Detroit dates back to 1994 when they played at Ann Arbor's Blind Pig. Over the years, they have also performed at various venues in the area, including Joe Louis Arena, the Palace of Auburn Hills, and Comerica Park.
The Acrisure Amphitheater, a newly constructed outdoor venue with a capacity of 12,000, will be hosting its grand opening on May 15 with a performance by Lionel Richie. Other artists scheduled to perform at the venue include MGK, Meghan Trainor, "Weird Al" Yankovic, John Mellencamp, Goo Goo Dolls, Mötley Crüe, Pitbull, and John Mulaney.
Dave Matthews Band's most recent show in the area was at Pine Knob in July 2025. It will be a change of scenery for fans this year as they head to Grand Rapids for the band's upcoming performances.
