The FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour will be making stops in seven Canadian cities, starting in Vancouver in April. Toronto will host the golden trophy at Nathan Phillips Square on May 25-26, giving soccer fans a chance to see the original FIFA World Cup Trophy up close. The tour will feature immersive Coca-Cola fan activations, interactive soccer challenges, and appearances by FIFA legends, with more details to be announced closer to the tour dates.
The Canadian leg of the tour will kick off in Vancouver on April 9-11, followed by stops in Calgary and Winnipeg. After visiting the United States and Mexico, the tour will resume in Montreal on May 22, then head to Halifax, Ottawa, and finally Toronto for the last Canadian dates. This will be the sixth time Coca-Cola has organized the Trophy Tour, offering fans a rare opportunity to see the 18-karat solid gold statue that has been lifted by World Cup champions for decades.
Registration for tickets to the event will begin on Thursday, Jan. 29, at 10 a.m. on Coca-Cola's website. The 150-day tour started in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and will visit 30 FIFA member associations across 75 stops before the tournament begins in Mexico City on June 11. The tour aims to bring fans closer to the action of the FIFA World Cup and provide an opportunity to experience the thrill and connection of football up close.
