Flint Powers Catholic recently hosted a high school hockey game against Saginaw Heritage at the 810 Sports Complex in Flint. The game kicked off with Powers taking a slight 1-0 lead at the end of the first period. Despite Heritage scoring a goal early in the second period to tie the game, Powers surged ahead with three goals, leading 4-1. In the final period, Powers dominated the game, scoring 5 more goals to secure a 9-1 victory. Colin Riley scored one goal for Heritage, while Ayden Cook, Sam Beebe, and Julian Meyer each scored 2 goals for Powers.
