Montreal Canadiens Make Coaching Change in Goaltending Staff: Marco Marciano Takes Over

The Montreal Canadiens have made a change in their goaltending coaching staff as Eric Raymond has been relieved of his duties. Marco Marciano, who previously served as the goaltending coach for the Laval Rocket, will take over the role. Marciano has been part of the Canadiens organization since 2013 and has experience working with various teams, including the Canadian Olympic women's team.
Marciano's appointment as the interim goaltending coach will last until the end of the season. He has already started working with some of the team's goaltenders, including Jakub Dobeš, Jacob Fowler, and Samuel Montembeault, who recently had a conditioning stint with the Rocket. Raymond, who was hired in 2021, has previous experience with the New York Rangers organization and in the QMJHL.
The Canadiens are looking to improve their goaltending performance with the coaching change. Marciano's experience and track record in developing goaltenders will be crucial in helping the team address their goaltending issues. The team is hopeful that the coaching change will lead to better results on the ice and help the goaltenders reach their full potential.
