Chia Pet: The Animated Adventure - Coming Soon!
A new animated feature film or series based on the iconic Chia Pet has been announced. Rakia Media and Crystal City Entertainment have secured the rights to develop the project. The companies are actively seeking partnerships to fully explore the commercial and storytelling potential of the Chia Pet franchise. Rakia Media, led by writer/director Adam Jay Epestein and producers Ari Daniel Pinchot and Jonathan Rubenstein, is spearheading the project. Chia Pets, known for their terracotta planters that grow plants, first gained popularity in the 1980s with their catchy jingle "Ch-Ch-Ch-Chia Pet." With over 30 million units sold, Chia Pets continue to be a beloved novelty item with various styles inspired by popular culture references.
