Sony Music Publishing Nashville and Domain Capital Group have joined forces to acquire the complete song catalog of country music star Miranda Lambert. This collaboration also includes a new publishing agreement for Lambert's future work, building on a relationship that began in 2003. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The acquisition encompasses Lambert's extensive career, featuring hit singles like "White Liar," "Bluebird," "Over You," and "Heart Like Mine," as well as successful albums such as Platinum, The Weight of These Wings, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and Kerosene. Lambert's songwriting prowess extends beyond her own recordings, with credits on tracks for artists like Morgan Wallen, Ella Langley, Ashley Monroe, Luke Combs, and Lainey Wilson.
Notable collaborations like the Grammy-nominated single "A Song to Sing" with Chris Stapleton and "Trailblazer" with Reba McEntire and Lainey Wilson have further solidified Lambert's impact in the music industry. Sony Pictures Television is also developing a project inspired by Lambert's catalog for Hulu.
