Serious Collision in North Omaha: Updates on the Incident at 50th Street and Ames Avenue
A collision occurred in north Omaha, resulting in one person being hospitalized with CPR in progress. The incident involved two vehicles at the intersection of 50th Street and Ames Avenue, where an SUV crossed the median, striking another vehicle and a pole. Emergency crews had to extricate two individuals from the SUV, while two others were ejected from the vehicle. All five occupants of the SUV were transported to the hospital, with one receiving CPR, three sustaining critical injuries, and one with serious injuries. The occupant of the other vehicle declined medical attention. The Omaha Police Department is currently investigating the crash.
