68th Annual Grammy Awards: Highlights, Winners, and Performances

The 68th annual Grammy Awards are currently underway at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, with the Premiere Ceremony kicking off the festivities. The event saw Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande winning the award for best pop/duo group performance for "Defying Gravity," although they were not present to accept the award. A total of 86 Grammys will be awarded before the main broadcast.

The song "Golden" from "KPop Demon Hunters" made history by winning the award for song written for visual media, marking the first time a K-pop act has won a Grammy. FKA twigs also secured her first Grammy for best dance/electronic album with "EUSEXUA." The Latin music categories saw Natalia Lafourcade, CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, and Carín León taking home awards for their respective albums.

The 2026 Grammy Awards have shifted the focus back to music after last year's emphasis on relief efforts following wildfires in the Los Angeles area. The main show, hosted by Trevor Noah, promises to be a star-studded event with performances from Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny, and more.

The main Grammy Awards show will be broadcast live on CBS at 8 p.m. Eastern on Feb. 1. Viewers can also watch the show through various live TV streaming services or stream the Premiere Ceremony on the Recording Academy's YouTube channel. The Associated Press will host a red carpet show with interviews and fashion footage ahead of the main event.

Kendrick Lamar leads the nominations with nine, followed by Lady Gaga, Jack Antonoff, and Cirkut with seven each. The lineup of presenters includes Doechii, Harry Styles, Carole King, and more, while performers like Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, and Tyler, the Creator are set to take the stage. The event will also feature tribute performances to artists like D'Angelo and Ozzy Osbourne.
