Michigan Wolverines Secure Commitment from 2026 Linebacker Ndi Etta

Michigan Wolverines have secured a commitment from 2026 linebacker Ndi Etta, who announced his decision on social media after a successful official visit. Etta, standing at 6-foot-1 and weighing 215 pounds, hails from Liberty Christian in Argyle, Texas, where he had an impressive senior season with 68 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks, and more. He is the younger brother of Michigan defensive lineman Enow Etta.

Ndi Etta is the second player to commit to Michigan's 2026 class under new head coach Kyle Whittingham, joining three-star defensive back Ernest Nunley. The Wolverines' latest recruits are expected to sign during the February signing period. Despite being offered by the previous coaching staff in December, Etta caught the eye of the new coaching staff, who see him as a potential outside linebacker/defensive end.

With Etta's commitment, Michigan now has 23 recruits in their 2026 class, with 21 already signed. The addition of a versatile defensive prospect like Etta adds depth and talent to the Wolverines' roster. The future looks bright for Michigan football with promising recruits like Ndi Etta on board.
