University of Cincinnati Students Face Charges for Breaking and Entering at Lindner Athletics Center

Two University of Cincinnati students, Owen Singer and Brom Schindler, are accused of breaking into the Lindner Athletics Center and stealing alcoholic beverages from Fifth Third Arena. The incident occurred on January 24, when the students accessed the closed arena and took various brands of beer and liquor from coolers and bars on the 3rd level. They concealed the stolen drinks in their pockets and bookbags.
After reviewing security camera footage, authorities were able to track Schindler to his dorm room in Turner Hall. They found the backpack and jacket he wore during the theft. Schindler then provided Singer's name to the police, leading them to Singer's residence in the Stratford Heights dormitory. Both students confessed to the crime and were charged with breaking and entering.
