Way of the Warrior Kid: A Heartwarming Tale of Courage and Self-Discovery

McG's latest film, "Way of the Warrior Kid," is set to premiere on Apple TV on November 20 worldwide. The movie features a star-studded cast including Chris Pratt, Linda Cardellini, and Jude Hill. The film is an adaptation of the Jocko Willink novel and was announced during Apple TV Press Day along with the release of the first look image.
The story follows Marc, a middle school student who has been struggling with bullying and feeling inadequate in various aspects of his life. When his Uncle Jake, a Navy SEAL played by Chris Pratt, comes to stay with him and his mother Sarah, things take a turn. Uncle Jake introduces Marc to "Operation Warrior Kid," a program based on SEAL training that focuses on courage rather than physical combat. The screenplay was adapted by Will Staples, known for his work on "Without Remorse" and "The Right Stuff."
In addition to the main cast, the movie also features Ava Torres, Levi McConaughey, Darien Sills-Evans, Carl McDowell, Parker Young, and more. The production team includes David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger from Skydance Media, along with McG, Mary Viola, Chris Pratt, Ben Everard, Bruce Wayne Gillies, and Jocko Willink as producers. Staples, Steven Bello, and Cliff Lanning serve as executive producers.
