Reviving Femme Fatale: Lorraine Lewis's Triumphant Return to Rock

Lorraine Lewis, the original 80s singer of Femme Fatale, has made a comeback with a new band lineup and the same passion and determination. After releasing their self-titled album in 1988, the band disbanded, but Lewis has now revived the band with a new lineup and released singles like Living Like There’s No Tomorrow and Bad Love in 2025, with an album expected to follow this year.

Lewis explains that relaunching Femme Fatale was a natural choice for her as it reflects who she truly is. After her time with Vixen, she felt it was time to return to her roots and embrace her identity as a Femme Fatale.

In the music video for Living Like There’s No Tomorrow, Lewis is seen skydiving in a sparkly bodysuit, showcasing her adventurous spirit. She encourages others to live life to the fullest and not have any regrets, emphasizing the importance of seizing the moment.

Being one of the few female rock singers on the Sunset Strip scene in the late eighties was a defining experience for Lewis. She was focused on achieving her own success and making her mark in the industry, rather than getting caught up in the party scene.

Reflecting on the band's breakup after their debut album, Lewis acknowledges the challenges she faced, including dealing with record labels and personal disappointments. Despite the setbacks, she remains determined to pursue her passion for music.

In the early 2010s, Femme Fatale was relaunched with an all-female lineup, offering a different dynamic for Lewis as the leader of the group. While she enjoyed the camaraderie, she found it financially demanding and now prefers being the only female member in the band.

Joining Only Fans in 2024 allowed Lewis to embrace her sensual side and express herself freely. She sees it as a way to empower herself as a woman and has found financial success through the platform.

With the third iteration of Femme Fatale, Lewis is confident that this version will endure. She is determined to continue pursuing her music career and promises to keep rocking as long as she can, unfazed by any obstacles that may come her way.
