Chicago Bears Update: Eric Studesville Named Running Backs Coach, Key Positions Still Vacant

National Girls and Women in Sports Day was celebrated with a special episode of CST featuring Peggy Kusinki, a prominent female sportscaster in Chicago. Peggy shared stories from her illustrious sports career and even drew comparisons between Ben Johnson and Mike Ditka. The Chicago Bears have appointed Eric Studesville as their new running backs coach, replacing Eric Bieniemy. Studesville, who previously worked with the team in 2000, brings a wealth of experience from his coaching stints with various NFL teams, including the Miami Dolphins. He has coached notable running backs like Tiki Barber, Marshawn Lynch, Willis McGahee, and De’von Achane, who had a breakout season in 2025 under Studesville's guidance. The Bears still have two key positions to fill - assistant general manager and offensive coordinator - before the NFL Combine later this month. Studesville will oversee a running back room that includes D'Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai, both coming off impressive seasons.
