Shaun White's Olympic Journey: From Milan Torch Relay to Livigno Snowboarding Competitions

Shaun White, the three-time Olympic gold medalist, is currently in Italy, where he is not competing in the Winter Games for the first time since 2002. Despite not participating in the events, White is actively involved in the festivities. Recently, he had the opportunity to run with the Olympic torch during the relay in Milan.

White's time in Milan will be brief as he will soon make his way to Livigno for the snowboarding competitions. The snowboarding action kicked off with the men's big air qualifying event on Thursday, followed by the big air final scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 7. Additionally, White will be part of the NBC broadcast team for the Opening Ceremony, providing commentary as the athletes enter San Siro Stadium and other venues in Italy for the Parade of Nations.

If you want to catch the Milan Cortina Opening Ceremony, you can tune in to NBC and Peacock on Friday, Feb. 6, at 2 p.m. ET. The event will also be re-aired during the Opening Ceremony Primetime at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.
