Halle Berry and her partner, Van Hunt, have recently gotten engaged. The Oscar-winning actress clarified rumors about declining a marriage proposal from the singer-songwriter during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Halle expressed her excitement about the engagement, describing Van as "great" and confirming that she accepted his proposal by showing off her unique engagement ring with a large round center stone. The couple has been together since April 2020, and Halle has been married three times before, with her most recent marriage to French actor Olivier Martinez ending in 2016. They share a son named Maceo, and Halle also has a daughter named Nahla from a previous relationship. Last June, Van revealed that he had proposed to Halle, but she was taking her time to respond. Despite the engagement, the couple does not feel the need to rush into marriage to validate their love.
