Brenda Grealis is facing a challenging battle with a rare form of Stiff Person Syndrome known as PERM (Progressive Encephalomyelitis with Rigidity and Myoclonus) SPS. This condition has left her bed-bound, struggling to communicate, and experiencing frequent spasms. A petition has been submitted to Tánaiste Simon Harris in opposition to the proposed merger of the Ballyhaunis Delivery Service Unit with Castlerea.
