Cliff Booth Returns: A First Look at 'The Adventures of Cliff Booth' Sequel

Netflix surprised fans with a first look at Brad Pitt reprising his role as stuntman Cliff Booth in the upcoming sequel to "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood," titled "The Adventures of Cliff Booth." The teaser, unveiled during the Super Bowl, featured Cliff in various scenes, including a bar, a film set, and a dirt race track, accompanied by retro music. The footage included cheeky censorship of nudity, cigarettes, guns, and cursing.

Cliff Booth, the charismatic stunt double from Quentin Tarantino's original film, returns in this sequel directed by David Fincher. While Tarantino wrote the script, he entrusted Fincher with the directorial duties as he continues to search for his final film project. The sequel is set in the 1970s, following the events of the Manson family murders that Cliff and Rick Dalton prevented in the first film.

In "The Adventures of Cliff Booth," Brad Pitt's character is joined by a new cast, including Scott Caan, Elizabeth Debicki, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Carla Gugino, Holt McCallany, JB Tadena, and Timothy Olyphant reprising his role from the original movie. The film's screenplay was penned by Tarantino, with Pitt, David Heyman, Ceán Chaffin, and Stacey Sher serving as producers. Erik Messerschmidt, known for his work with Fincher, is the director of photography, capturing the essence of Los Angeles where the movie was filmed.
