Financial Details Revealed: Todd Bridges' Income and Legal Battle with Ex-Wife
New court documents have revealed that Todd Bridges, the former child star, reported earning a meager $700 per month in the year leading up to his split from wife Bettijo Hirschi. The income details emerged during a legal battle involving Bettijo and her first husband, Heath Hirschi. Bettijo disclosed that Bridges, now 60, was semi-retired and had an inconsistent income in 2024. She mentioned that Bridges contributed to household expenses through occasional contract work, as he made around $700 a month.
Heath sought to reduce or eliminate the spousal support he was paying Bettijo after her remarriage to Bridges. The couple finalized their divorce in 2021, and Heath was initially ordered to pay $2,700 per month in spousal support until December 2031. Heath argued that his payments should be terminated due to Bettijo's marriage to a "well-known Hollywood actor" and her success as a designer and lifestyle blogger. He claimed financial hardship while Bettijo lived in an $880,000 home with Bridges.
In December 2025, the court ruled that Heath would pay $1,206 per month in child support and $43,401.96 in past support. The former couple was granted joint legal decision-making authority over their two minor children, with Bettijo as the primary residential parent. Shortly after, Bridges announced their separation after three years of marriage, citing a difficult decision made with a heavy heart and requesting privacy as they moved forward.
