RedHawks Extend Undefeated Streak with Dominant Win Over Marshall in MAC-Sun Belt Challenge
Miami (Ohio) continued its undefeated streak with a 90-74 victory over Marshall Thundering Herd in the MAC-Sun Belt Challenge. Eian Elmer led the RedHawks with 18 points, followed by Peter Suder with 17 points. The RedHawks, with a record of 24-0, are one of the two remaining unbeaten teams in Division I, along with Arizona. Miami's high-scoring offense was on display as they shot 56% from the floor in the first half, building a commanding 49-31 halftime lead. Marshall struggled to keep up, shooting 40% for the game and going 10 minutes without a basket in the first half. Despite a late rally by Marshall, Miami maintained control and secured the win. Noah Otshudi led Marshall with 23 points, while Wyatt Fricks contributed 16 points and 10 rebounds. Miami will face Ohio next, while Marshall will play Old Dominion.
