Kid Rock's Legal Troubles: A Look at His Arrest Record and Run-Ins with the Law

Kid Rock, also known as Robert Ritchie, made headlines by performing at the Turning Point USA alternative Super Bowl halftime show. Despite his stage name, Kid Rock has had several run-ins with the law over the years. His first arrest was in 1991 on alcohol charges in Michigan. He was arrested again in 1997 for a similar offense but did not serve any time for either incident. In 2005, he was arrested for assaulting a strip club DJ in Nashville and posted bail on a misdemeanor assault charge. Two years later, in 2007, Kid Rock was arrested for battery after a fight outside a Waffle House. He pleaded not guilty and was sentenced to probation, fines, anger management, and community service. Later that year, he had a scuffle with Tommy Lee at the MTV VMAs, resulting in a battery citation but no criminal charges. In total, Kid Rock has four documented arrests and one battery citation on his record.
