George Harrison's Reissued Solo Works and Music Publishing Catalog: A Comprehensive Overview

George Harrison's solo recorded works and music publishing catalog have been reissued under an agreement with BMG, bringing them together for the first time. The latest reissue is his 1992 Live in Japan album, featuring performances of Beatles and solo favorites, set to release on March 20, 2026. Other reissued albums include his self-titled George Harrison album, Somewhere in England, Gone Troppo, Let it Roll: Songs by George Harrison, Dark Horse, Extra Texture, and Thirty Three & 1/3.
Ringo Starr's first four solo albums have also received limited edition pressings on color vinyl, released on Oct. 24, 2025. George Harrison founded Dark Horse Records in 1974, which is now led by his son, Dhani Harrison, and David Zonshine. Harrison's catalog includes 12 studio albums, with All Things Must Pass and Living In the Material World being chart-topping and critically acclaimed albums.
BMG entered into a global publishing agreement with Harrison's Estate in 2022 to administer the Harrisongs catalog, which includes over 200 songs written with the Beatles, the Traveling Wilburys, and Harrison's solo career. The catalog features popular songs like "Here Comes the Sun," "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," and "Something," showcasing Harrison's significant contributions to music history.
