Man Arrested in San Antonio After Evading DPS Trooper and Causing Multiple Collisions
A man was arrested in San Antonio after a DPS trooper attempted to stop his blue Dodge Charger near Loop 410 and Waters Edge Road. The man, identified as Dylan Mendez, 35, tried to evade the trooper but ended up losing control of his vehicle. He struck the trooper's patrol unit, another vehicle, and a concrete barrier during the incident. Mendez, who had two outstanding warrants, will face additional charges of Evading with a Motor Vehicle and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. Fortunately, the driver of the other vehicle involved, a 64-year-old woman, was not injured.
