Schrader, known for his recent acclaimed films like First Reformed and The Card Counter, explores themes of control and desire in Non Compos Mentis. David Gonzales, Schrader's manager, is producing the movie, aiming to create a compelling and explosive narrative with the exceptional cast.

Nadine de Barros from Fortitude Films will serve as the executive producer for Non Compos Mentis, which will be presented to buyers at the European Film Market.
