MiddleSea: Billy Joel's Long Island Estate Stays Off the Market

Billy Joel has decided to take his Long Island estate, MiddleSea, off the market. The property, located in Oyster Bay, Long Island, was originally listed for sale in 2023 for nearly $50 million. Despite attempts to sell the estate in separate pieces, including the main house and two buildable lots, there were no buyers. The price was later reduced to $25 million, but still no one purchased the property. The 26-acre estate, which Joel bought in 2002 for $22.5 million, features a 20,000-square-foot home with five bedrooms and eight bathrooms, as well as amenities like a spa, ballroom, pool, tennis court, and bowling alley. The future plans for the property remain unknown, as it is currently not up for sale.
