BTS Jungkook Named Global Ambassador for Hublot: Security Measures, Collaboration Details, and Upcoming Activities

BTS member Jungkook was recently named the newest global ambassador for luxury watch brand Hublot at an event in Seoul. Dressed in a stylish burgundy suit, Jungkook showcased the Big Bang Original Unico watch, which he will promote as the brand ambassador. The event was attended by media representatives and company officials, where Jungkook interacted with the press and posed for photos, including with the brand's CEO.
The event also garnered attention online for the extensive security measures in place, with Jungkook accompanied by a team of around 10 bodyguards. Fans expressed relief and appreciation for the tight security, given concerns over threats and stalking incidents involving BTS members. Some fans viewed the heavy security presence as necessary for Jungkook's safety, while others saw it as a reflection of ongoing risks faced by the idol.
Jungkook's partnership with Hublot expands his global presence in the luxury market, adding to his existing collaborations with Chanel Fragrance and Beauty and Calvin Klein. The BTS member joins a list of international brand ambassadors for Hublot, including notable figures like Daniel Arsham, Patrick Mahomes, and Usain Bolt. In an interview, Jungkook and Hublot CEO Julien Tornare discussed the collaboration, highlighting the idol's growing interest in watchmaking and the brand's design direction.
As BTS gears up for a full-group comeback with the release of their new studio album, ARIRANG, on March 20, 2026, Jungkook's ambassadorship with Hublot aligns with the group's upcoming activities. A comeback showcase and documentary are scheduled for March, followed by a world tour starting in April. The tour will include 82 concerts across various cities and regions, showcasing BTS's global reach and continued success in the music industry.
