Dylan Palmer, a Middletown student, wowed the crowd by playing the national anthem on an electric guitar before the game. The video of his performance, shared by "The Report Ohio," has garnered praise from Facebook commenters, with some comparing his style to legendary guitarist Jimi Hendrix's iconic Woodstock performance in 1969. The Middies ultimately lost to the Bulldogs with a final score of 73-58, but both teams are set to resume Greater Miami Conference (GMC) action on February 13. Hamilton will host Sycamore, while Middletown will travel to Mason.
