DeMarcus had been playing golf in Detroit when he received urgent calls from his wife, informing him that their son was about to be born. Thanks to Kid Rock's generosity, DeMarcus was able to fly back to Nashville, witness the birth of his son, and then return to Detroit in time for a show, still wearing his hospital scrubs.
