Price Is Right Contestant's Incredible Comeback: From Zero to $17,045 in Prizes!

A contestant on The Price Is Right made an incredible comeback on the show, winning prizes worth $17,045 after initially looking like he might walk away with nothing. Steve Battaglia, a Beatles fan, won a motorized scooter in the bidding round and then played the game Now or Then for an outdoor kitchen island with a gas grill, fridge, and umbrella.

In Now or Then, Battaglia had to guess the prices of grocery items marked at current prices or prices from August 2015. He needed to correctly guess the prices of three adjacent items in a row to win the outdoor kitchen island. After a couple of incorrect guesses, he finally got it right and won the prize.

Battaglia's excitement was palpable as he realized he had won the kitchen island, jumping up and down in disbelief. Despite spinning over $1 on the Showcase Showdown wheel, he did not advance to the next round.

The Price Is Right airs weekdays on CBS at 11a/10c and can be streamed the next day on Paramount+. What an exciting and unexpected turn of events for Battaglia on the show!
