Survival Thriller 'No Way Off' Begins Production in Northern Ireland

Production has begun in Northern Ireland on the survival thriller "No Way Off," directed by Brian Kelly and starring Maria Bakalova. The story revolves around a single mother named Nadya and her child who are abducted by a bus driver on Christmas Eve. As the bus ventures into the wilderness, Nadya must fight for survival against all odds. The film features a talented cast including David Wilmot and Andrew Gower alongside Bakalova. Written by Gaby Hull, the movie is produced by Matthew James Wilkinson and Jamie Harvey. International sales are handled by Altitude, with the film being presented at the European Film Market. The project is financed by Esme Grace, Head Gear Films, Northern Ireland Screen, OnSight, and Altitude, with filming taking place in Northern Ireland and at Studio Ulster in Belfast. Rister is also co-representing North American rights with Altitude. Stigma Films, Wilkinson's production company, was recognized in Screen's Brit50 list of top UK independent production companies.
