Phoenix Suns Sign Free Agent Haywood Highsmith to Multiyear Deal
The Phoenix Suns have signed free agent Haywood Highsmith to a multiyear deal, according to his agent Jerry Dianis. Highsmith had interest from several playoff teams but ultimately chose to join the Suns. He was previously with the Brooklyn Nets after being traded from the Miami Heat last year and was later waived during this season's trade deadline. Highsmith, 29, has been recovering from knee surgery and has not played in any games this season.
