Tragic Plane Crash Claims Four Lives in Steamboat Springs: Updates and Investigation Details

Four individuals tragically lost their lives in a plane crash in Steamboat Springs. The victims have been identified as Aaron Stokes, Jackson Stokes, Colin Stokes, and Austin Huskey. The incident occurred as their Epic Aircraft E1000 was on its final approach to Steamboat Springs Airport, also known as Bob Adams Field, when it collided with Emerald Mountain shortly after midnight. The bodies of the deceased were recovered by members of the Routt County Search and Rescue team and Routt County Sheriff’s deputies. The National Transportation Safety Board is currently investigating the crash.
