SpongeBob SquarePants is making a return to the small screen after a successful run in theaters. Paramount+ has announced that "The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants" will be available for streaming on the platform starting February 17. This latest installment in the beloved animated franchise follows SpongeBob on a daring adventure to prove his bravery to his boss, Mr. Krabs, as he encounters the mischievous ghost pirate, the Flying Dutchman, leading to a hilarious and thrilling journey beyond Bikini Bottom.

Directed by Derek Drymon, a veteran of the series, the film expands the world of SpongeBob while staying true to the humor and visual style that fans have come to love.
