Country music star Thomas Rhett recently shared on a podcast that he is experiencing hearing loss in one ear and has had to start using hearing aids to help him hear better. He mentioned this during an episode of Annie F. Downs' That Sounds Fun podcast, where he discussed his recent health issue. Rhett revealed that he is losing hearing in his left ear and has started wearing hearing aids to address the problem. He even joked about the experience with his wife, Lauren Akins, saying that the sound was overwhelming at first. The couple also hinted at the arrival of their new baby, due in March, and mentioned that they are keeping the gender a surprise until the birth. Rhett expressed some anxiety about the upcoming addition to their family but also hinted that they might be done having children after this one. If they decide to have more than five kids, they joked about needing a Sprinter van to accommodate their growing family.
