Exciting Lineup of Promotions at Nat Bailey Stadium for the Vancouver Canadians' 75th Anniversary Season
Get ready to bring your furry friends to Nat Bailey Stadium this summer as the Vancouver Canadians have announced their schedule of special promotions for the upcoming minor league baseball season. One of the highlights is Dog Day on May 28, where you can enjoy the game with your canine companions. Other theme nights include Star Wars Day, First Responders Appreciation Day, Women in Sport Day, Pride Night, and Country Night. The Canadians are the high-A farm club of the Toronto Blue Jays and will kick off the season on April 3 against the Tri-City Dust Devils.
Nat Bailey Stadium is celebrating its 75th anniversary this season, and the team will be honoring the ballpark with special events throughout the year. Fans can look forward to giveaways, including bobbleheads, magnet schedules, miniature replicas of the stadium, and themed items for kids like Star Wars Light Swords and mini jerseys. With 26 giveaways planned for the season, fans have a good chance of taking home a memento from the ballpark's anniversary season.
In addition to the special promotions, the Canadians will be wearing commemorative 75th-anniversary jerseys every Tuesday and will have special uniform days for Filipino Celebration Day and South Asian Heritage Day. The high-A season consists of 132 games split into two halves, with the champions of the Northwest League facing off in a championship series.
