Summer Concert Season in San Diego: Santana, The Doobie Brothers, Rüfüs Du Sol, and More!
The summer concert season is already heating up with exciting announcements of upcoming tours coming to San Diego. Latin-rock legend Carlos Santana and The Doobie Brothers will be hitting the road together, with a stop at North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre on August 11. This will be Santana's first appearance in the area since receiving a Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award. Additionally, Australian trio Rüfüs Du Sol is set to headline a full-stadium show at Petco Park on August 15, making them the first EDM band to do so at the venue. Thee Sacred Souls, a San Diego neo-soul band, will also be performing at Gallagher Square at Petco Park on August 28.
Rüfüs Du Sol's concert at Petco Park adds to the growing list of full-stadium concerts at the venue this year, including shows by Ed Sheeran, My Chemical Romance, and more. Tickets for Thee Sacred Souls' August 28 concert will go on sale to the general public on Friday, priced at $44.95. Pre-sales for Citi card holders and other groups will begin on Wednesday, February 18. Tickets for the Santana/Doobie Brothers concert at North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre on August 11 will go on sale on Friday, February 20, with prices starting at $39.50. Rüfüs Du Sol's concert at Petco Park on August 16 will have tickets available to the general public on Thursday, February 26, priced between $44 and $220.
