Exploring the Controversial World of Looksmaxxing, Jestermaxxing, and Frame-Mogging: The Clavicular Connection
The concept of being "brutally frame-mogged" has gained traction on social media, particularly within the incel subculture, alongside terms like "looksmaxxing" and "jestermaxxing." These terms are often associated with Clavicular, a streamer and influencer known for his focus on looksmaxing and connections to far-right figures. Clavicular's recent arrest and subsequent release even led to jokes about him "freedom-mogging" the police.
"Looksmaxxing," as defined by Merriam-Webster, involves practices aimed at enhancing one's physical appearance, with varying levels of intensity among practitioners. The term "mog" originates from the acronym AMOG, meaning Alpha Male of Group, and is used to describe outdoing someone in terms of physical appearance, as in being "brutally frame-mogged."
In contrast to looksmaxxing, "jestermaxxing" involves behavior intended to appear attractive without solely focusing on physical appearance, such as being funny or engaging in jestergooning. Clavicular has distanced himself from much of this terminology, dismissing it as random gibberish created by individuals on Twitter.
Despite the popularity of these terms on social media, Clavicular has emphasized that they do not align with his own language and are simply the product of random online chatter. While the vernacular may be trending, Clavicular maintains that it does not accurately represent his views or practices.
