The rapper known as Lil Poppa, whose real name is Janarious Mykel Wheeler, has passed away. The Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed his death today at 11:23 AM ET. The cause of his death has not been disclosed. Lil Poppa was a well-known artist signed to Yo Gotti’s Collective Music Group (CMG) and had released popular tracks like "Love & War," "Mind Over Matter," and "HAPPY TEARS."
In August, Lil Poppa dropped a 16-song album titled "Almost Normal Again," and just recently released a new single called "Out of Town Bae." He was set to perform in New Orleans next month.
