The BBC is set to celebrate Sir David Attenborough's 100th birthday with a special week of programming dedicated to the broadcasting icon. The tribute will include three new shows that highlight Attenborough's remarkable legacy. Making Life on Earth: Attenborough’s Greatest Adventure will take viewers behind the scenes of the iconic 1979 series, featuring interviews with Sir David and the original production team. Secret Garden will explore the hidden worlds within British gardens, showcasing the diverse life found in backyards across the UK. David Attenborough’s 100 Years on Planet Earth will be a live event at the Royal Albert Hall, featuring the BBC Concert Orchestra and special guests.

In addition to the new shows, the celebratory week will feature special episodes from some of Sir David's most beloved series, including Planet Earth II, Seven Worlds, One Planet, Blue Planet II, Planet Earth III, Frozen Planet II, and Wild London. A collection of 40 of his most popular programs will also be available on iPlayer.
