Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins: Juggling Parenthood, New Baby, and Hearing Loss
Thomas Rhett and his wife, Lauren Akins, are expanding their family with the upcoming arrival of their fifth child. In a recent podcast interview, the couple shared that they do not have a nanny or regular babysitter to help care for their children. This means that most of the time, only one or two adults are at home looking after their four, soon to be five, kids, leading to some hectic days. Rhett humorously mentioned that the chaos sometimes makes him eager to return to performing on the road, even offering to do private shows for little to no money just to get out of the house for a bit.
Looking ahead to the birth of their fifth child, Rhett expressed gratitude for the miracle of expanding their family but admitted that with so much happening, he hasn't had much time to dwell on it. In addition to the excitement of a new baby, Rhett recently revealed that he has started to experience hearing loss in his left ear and now wears hearing aids, adding another layer of chaos to his already bustling household.
