Avengers: Secret Wars and The Batman Part II have recently received significant production updates. In a Q&A session from Jeff Sneider’s The InSneider newsletter, it was addressed whether Avengers: Secret Wars would be split into two parts, but Marvel Studios currently has no plans for such a split due to the logistical challenges it would pose. The movie is scheduled for release on December 17, 2027, following Avengers: Doomsday in 2026.

Regarding The Batman Part II, rumors about production being delayed to accommodate Robert Pattinson's press tour for The Odyssey were debunked. The sequel's production is still on track to begin in the summer, with Pattinson managing his commitments to both projects. Scarlett Johansson is rumored to be joining the cast, along with returning actors like Colin Farrell, Andy Serkis, and Jeffrey Wright. The movie, co-written by Reeves and Mattson Tomlin, is set to start filming in the spring and will be released on October 1, 2027 in the US.
