A man has been convicted of owning two XL bully dogs that fatally attacked his mother-in-law in Jaywick, Essex, just two days after the breed was banned. The victim, Esther Martin, 68, was dog-sitting at the man's home when the dogs mauled her to death. The man, Ashley Warren, 41, who was away filming a music video in London at the time of the incident, will be sentenced at a later date.
