U2's EP 'Days of Ash': A Tribute to Renee Good and Call to Action Against Falsehoods

U2, the Grammy-winning rock band, unveiled a new EP titled "Days of Ash" featuring a track called "American Obituary" that pays tribute to Renee Good, a Minneapolis mother who was fatally shot by federal agents during an ICE operation. Lead singer Bono sings about Good being labeled a "domestic terrorist" by the Trump administration and calls for America to rise against falsehoods. The release comes after Trump suggested investigating Bono for supporting Kamala Harris in the 2024 election, a claim Bono denied on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Bruce Springsteen also released a song, "Streets of Minneapolis," honoring Good and another protester, Alex Pretti, who was killed by federal agents.
