Farhan Akhtar to Portray Pandit Ravi Shankar in The Beatles Biopics: A Tribute to Musical Legends
Farhan Akhtar expressed his gratitude for being cast as Pandit Ravi Shankar in The Beatles biopics, acknowledging the band's profound influence on his music journey. He thanked director Sam Mendes for the opportunity, highlighting Mendes' exceptional work in the film industry. Sam Mendes will direct and produce the biopics alongside Pippa Harris and Julie Pastor.
The upcoming films will delve into the lives of each member of The Beatles, with Farhan portraying Ravi Shankar, who had a significant impact on George Harrison's musical style. The cast includes Lucy Boynton as Jane Asher, Morfydd Clark as Cynthia Lennon, and Harry Lawtey as Stuart Sutcliffe.
