Steve Perry Declines Journey's Final Frontier Tour Invitation: A Look at the Band's Future Plans

Steve Perry has made it clear that he will not be joining Journey on their upcoming Final Frontier tour. Despite guitarist Neal Schon's invitation for a guest appearance, Perry has declined the offer. In a message on his Facebook page, Perry expressed gratitude for his time with Journey but emphasized that he has moved on from the band. Perry first left Journey in 1987 and briefly reunited in 1995 before parting ways again after one album and no tour.
Journey is set to begin their Final Frontier tour on February 28 in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Keyboardist Jonathan Cain, known for his songwriting contributions to Journey's successful albums like Escape and Frontiers, has announced that he will also be leaving the band after this tour. Despite the invitation extended to Steve Perry, he has made it clear that he will not be rejoining Journey for any part of the tour.
