Charlie's Angels Reboot: Original Stars Possibly Returning for New Film

A new film reboot of the "Charlie's Angels" franchise is in the works, with Pete Chiarelli, known for "Crazy Rich Asians," set to write the script. This project marks the third attempt to bring the classic TV series to the big screen, following the successful early 2000s films and the failed 2019 reboot. Recent reports suggest that the original stars, Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, and Lucy Liu, may return for the film, although their roles are not yet specified. Additionally, there are efforts to bring back Demi Moore's character from the 2003 film, despite her character's apparent demise. With Diaz returning to acting and all original leads still active in the industry, the potential for their involvement in the new film is high. Drew Barrymore's Flower Films production company is expected to produce the reboot.
