Paul Rodgers Declines Offer to Work on Alex Van Halen's New Van Halen Project

Paul Rodgers recently declined an offer to work on Alex Van Halen's new archival Van Halen project. Alex Van Halen had been working on a collection of new recordings that were intended to be the next Van Halen record, but the project was halted due to Eddie Van Halen's passing. The recordings already featured drums, guitar, and bass, with Wolfgang Van Halen, Eddie's son, playing the bass parts.
With former Van Halen lead singers David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar not involved in the project, Alex Van Halen approached Paul Rodgers to participate. However, Rodgers had to decline the offer, citing that he is currently in an acoustic and zen phase of life. Despite being in good health, Rodgers prioritizes his well-being and declined the opportunity to work on one track for the project.
In the past, Rodgers had also turned down the chance to perform with Bad Company at their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction due to health concerns. He emphasized the importance of prioritizing his health and managing stress. Rodgers expressed his gratitude for the understanding of his decision.
